Remember the Perrito is designed with privacy as a core principle. We believe your browsing habits are your business and yours alone. This policy explains what data we collect (spoiler: almost none) and how we handle it.
What Data We Collect

Local Data Storage
All your usage data, settings, and preferences are stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local. This means:
- Your data never leaves your device
- We cannot access your data even if we wanted to
- Uninstalling the extension removes all data
- No cloud sync, no cross-device tracking
Payment Data
When you purchase premium dog breeds (Corgi or Golden Retriever), the following happens:
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor
- We only receive your email address and purchase confirmation
- Your payment details (credit card, etc.) are never seen by us
- Purchase records are stored in our database to enable breed restoration
You can request deletion of your purchase records by contacting us at the email below.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Stripe — For secure payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Chrome Web Store — For extension distribution. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
No other third-party services, trackers, or analytics are used.
Permissions
The extension requests the following permissions:
- storage — To save your settings and usage data locally
- alarms — To schedule daily resets and reminders
- host permissions — To detect which websites you visit (processed locally only)
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access — All your data is visible in the extension dashboard
- Delete — Uninstall the extension to remove all local data
- Request purchase record deletion — Email us to remove payment records
- Opt out — Don't purchase premium breeds to avoid any data sharing
